An artist to watch out for…Craig Damrauer

We are starting a new monthly post that will be called ‘One to watch’.  Pippa Jameson Interiors will be keeping an eye on the design industry and picking out who we think will be the next big thing.  It could be an artist, textile designer, Illustrator or basically anyone in the design field.   The feature will be written by our new Global Contributor for Pippa Jameson Interiors; Amy Thackeray, based all the way in Sydney Australia!  We hope you enjoy reading our suggestions.

There’s something addictive about Craig Damrauer’s ‘New Math’ artwork.  After stumbling across his website I found myself trawling through each of his designs having to look at ‘just one more’ time and time again.

Quirky, fun and upbeat are the first word’s that spring to mind when reviewing the Brooklyn based artists’ work.  Craig takes simple math equations and puts his own creative spin on them.

Fun hey?  For more of Craig’s work you can visit his website – www.morenewmath.com All of his prints are available online as well as his range of t-shirts

For me, Craig Damrauer = Originality + Fun + One to watch out for!
