Bioethanol fires for garden rooms

During the planning stages of our outside office, I was approached by Imagine Fires. They asked if I would like to try one of their Bioethanol fires for our garden room. I had hoped to install a wood burner but after chatting with Imagine Fires, a bioethanol fire seemed like an all-around better option. The install was much easier and the fire was a greener alternative to a wood burner. Another advantage was that you didn’t need a flue, just a vent.

We had the option of varying shapes and sizes as well as larger fuel outputs. We decided on the Pembrey model as we liked the fact that it was fairly slim looking. We plan to use the space for a multitude of things including; studying, a chill-out room, and a place for me to do my pilates.

To have an extension of our home his fantastic as this part of the garden was never used. The Biothermol fire is so easy to operate, you simply open a hatch at the base of the fire and pour in some of the biofuel. Depending on how much fuel you use, it can stay burning for up to 6 hours. The biofuel can also be bought with various different scents and we particularly like the vanilla. It’s really important that you have a vent fitted to make sure that the air can be circulated inside, otherwise, you will not be able to use this fire.

It is a great alternative for people who are unable to install a standard wood burner with a flue.

Imaginfires was founded in 2013 by 2 friends, James and Mark. After trying to find a heat source solution that had real flames, was environmentally friendly, and looked elegant in their homes, they soon realised that what was available on the market didn’t fit the bill. Not wanting to be beaten and both with a background in retail, they decided to do it themselves. And so, imaginfires was born. Smokeless, environmentally friendly, real flames, easy to use and looking rather gorgeous, bioethanol fireplaces ticked all the boxes. James and Mark were soon joined by Mark’s brother, Paul. Paul keeps a close eye on the customer service team, ensuring everyone is happy from the first point of contact to delivery and beyond. We take great pride in delivering industry-leading customer satisfaction levels, and our Trustpilot score speaks for itself, with a long history of very satisfied, indeed delighted, customers.

Safety is the main priority for the team; So much so that for the last 5 years, James and Mark sit on European wide standards committees to input and develop safety standards for bioethanol fireplaces. Our customers can be safe in the knowledge that we’re doing everything we can to supply products that not only look gorgeous but also comply with all required British & European standards.
