New collections from Kersaint Cobb

Thinking of buying a new carpet, then take a look at the new photography from Kersaint Cobb, it’s so pretty.  The carpet below would make the perfect foundation to a pale or colourful scheme and the stripes add just enough texture and interest without becoming too distracting.  Wool, Caribbean Days, Nevis, £35.50 per sq metre.

Coloured carpets (such as this khaki toned one below) can look great when teamed with the right furniture and accessories. A few things to bare in mind when you shop for samples are; speak directly with the carpet supplier and ask for an extra-large one, it may cost you a little but it will save you making an expensive mistake.  Be sure to look at the sample throughout the day and hold it against your existing sofa and soft furnishings as just like paint, the light will affect the colour. Wool, South Pacific, Vanuatu, £45 per sq metre.

There is nothing nicer than stepping out of bed and being met with a luxurious long pile carpet underfoot. Its sumptuous appearance takes on an almost velvet effect when the pile faces in different direction creating depth and texture in an otherwise plain carpet (image below) . Bamboo, Silk Touch, Tokyo, £39.99 per sq metre.
