3 Looks for Living rooms

Are you looking for some living room inspiration?  If so, check out my ‘3 Looks for Living Rooms’ in this months issue of Homestyle Magazine.  We focus on three key trends and show you how to work them into your home using high street products at affordable prices.

The first look is ‘Tropical teamed with a 70’s vibe’ and combines decorative Bamboo wallpaper with statement furnitures pieces in mustard and Lime. We have accessorised with tropical print textiles and added a little luxe with our brass edge tables, we finished the look with and a textured pendant, echoing the textures of palm trees and coconut skins.

No sooner is everyone painting their wall grey when along come blue!  Fear not, grey will will stay popular for some time to come and will run comfortably alongside beautiful blue. It is all about the tones for this look, your spectrum is deep blue right up to Indigo to Indigo, which is right on trend.

The above look is fairly mainstream now and I can see why it has wide appeal. Neutral furniture pieces teamed with light floors, blonde wood and geo accessories, the look fresh, modern and stylish.  Another advantage is that you can add one or two pops of colour and the whole look is brought alive.  Another hue that would work is mustard.
