Styling for Amazon

It’s been a while since I shared recent styling work as I have been out of the office for so long. These images are from my Amazon Basics shoot which was a fun and challenging brief. As this was Amazon ‘Basics’ range I had to keep the styling fairly paired back and…basic. Let’s face it, cardboard boxes are not the most glamorous items to shoot, add to that a horizontal banner crop and you can understand the challenge.

The key styling factors to fulfilling this brief was to keep the shot simple, by not avoid overloading it with extra props, and avoid lots of colour. By doing this, the frame remains easy on the eye allowing the consumer to identify Amazon’s product. It also helps that it was shot by the lovely Penny Wincer who is great at capturing the moment.
